DAVID MASON | MUSIC ENGINEER

A musician since childhood, David Mason has been producing pro for nearly ten years. Specializing in Pop and Electronic Styles, Mason recently secured a publishing deal for one of his rappers with Eminem's affiliate company Sync2Picture. David has been able to help over 200 artists bring their projects to life and has procured over a million streams cumulative on personal and collaborative releases.

As a child, David took strongly to music. He began piano lessons at the age of eight and booked his first professional singing gig in the Fourth Grade. David was accepted to the Cab Calloway School of the Arts in 2008 and begun his Music and technology studies. In 2011 he enrolled at Ithaca College in New York where he studied Sound Recording Technology under Alex Perialas of Pyramid Sound. Alex is notable for his work with the band Anthrax and Rapper Missy Elliot. During his time at IC, David received several awards leading the Vocal Group Ithacappella including the 2016 CARA Award for best collegiate male arrangement. He performed at Madison Square Garden with Ithacappella two times! During the 2015 Ithaca College Choir Winter Tour, he had the opportunity of performing excerpts from the Carmina Burana at The Lincoln Center. 

David graduated from Ithaca College in 2015 with a Bachelor's in music and emphasis in Electronics. After college he worked in event production for a few years designing sound systems for many events including Cornell's 2015 and 2016 Spring Commencement as well as Marymount Manhattan College's 2017 Spring Show. He worked under a number of different companies learning how to effectively reproduce clear clean sound in large hall and stadium settings. 

In 2018, David moved to Los Angeles where he began to work out of several music studios producing for artists. At the advent of the year he won the HOFA Mix contest for best Remix of the original song 'Warheit'. At this point, he'd had moderate success across digital distribution platforms with his tracks 'Hideaway' and 'Kicking Pavement'. Each track garnered over one hundred and fifty thousand views on Spotify.  In 2019, he signed a new artist, Crystal Allen, to Eminem's Publishing company,  Sync2Pictrure. David is currently living in Delaware and pursuing new performing and production opportunities.
